Coronal Polishing

Coronal Polishing is an expanded function for trained Dental Assistant IIs. 

Our course includes lecture and clinical practice of coronal tooth polishing.

Upon successful completion of this course, the Dental Assistant II will be able to polish, under the supervision of a licensed dentist, the coronal surfaces of the dentition.

Prior to enrollment, you will need the following:

• Proof of Dental Assistant II status (at least 3000 chairside hours as a DA I)
• CPR must be current
• Dental Assistant certification
• Valid proof of identification

Please bring the following to your Coronal Polishing Training:

• Protective eyewear  
• Notebook & pen/pencil
